Ireland is ULTRA popular in Florida!

Five tourism companies from Ireland joined Tourism Ireland in Palm Beach, Florida, for the Luxury Travel Advisors (LTA) ULTRA Summit.

LTA ULTRA Summit is a three-day event which brings together leading travel buyers who specialise in high-spend luxury travel. The invite-only event involved a programme of bespoke one-to-one appointments – offering an excellent opportunity for the tourism enterprises from Ireland to meet, and do business with, top-producing luxury travel buyers from the United States. The aim was to ensure that Ireland is ‘top of mind’ for the luxury buyers when recommending destinations to their clients.

Alison Metcalfe, Tourism Ireland’s Head of North America, said: “This week’s LTA ULTRA Summit in Palm Beach, Florida, is another excellent platform for Tourism Ireland and our partners to highlight the superb luxury tourism offering available right around Ireland – from our boutique hotels, castles and luxury resorts, to our rich culture and heritage, and not forgetting our world-class golf and superb culinary scene.

“Tourism Ireland is rolling out an extensive and targeted programme of promotions throughout 2022. Our message is that Ireland is open for business again and we cannot wait to welcome back visitors from the United States.”
