The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD) has won Best Overseas Conference Centre Silver at the M&IT Awards
The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD) has announced its achievement of winning Best Overseas Conference Centre Silver at the M&IT Awards at a ceremony held on Friday 18 September at Grosvenor House in London. This award highlights The CCD’s dedication to excellence and its commitment to delivering world-class events.
Organised by Meetings & Incentive Travel magazine, the M&IT Awards stand among the highest accolades in the MICE industry, recognising venues that set the standard for excellence. For The CCD to be recognised again by industry peers is an extraordinary honour and a testament to the team’s passion for creating outstanding experiences. This recognition marks the 15th M&IT award for The CCD, having taken home the Gold award 11 times, Silver in 2011, 2017, 2026 and Bronze in 2024.
Commenting on the win, Stephen Meehan, Chief Executive of The CCD said,

Dublin Convention Bureau were also winners on the night, picking up Silver for Best Overseas Convention Bureau. Mr. Meehan went on to say,

It’s fantastic to see our fellow Irish colleagues and organisations recognised alongside us. This year, The CCD was shortlisted against six major international conference centres – CCIB – Barcelona International Convention Centre, Grimaldi Forum Monaco, Palau de Congressos de Catalunya, PALMA CONGRESS CENTER Managed by Melia Hotels, PortAventura Convention Centre and RAI Amsterdam
Since opening in September 2010, The CCD has now won 68 industry awards and hosted over 2,500 events. The venue hosted 122 events in 2025, including 35 international conferences.
Confirmed events for the remainder of 2026 include ISQua International Conference 2026, ITIC (Irish Tourism Industry Confederation) Conference 2026, SREcon 26 EMEA, Analytics Summit 2026 and 2026 Alzheimer Europe Conference.
