Landmark Gala Awards Celebrate Ireland’s Culinary Tourism Community
Good Food Ireland® will mark a major milestone this November as the Good Food Ireland® 20th Anniversary Celebration & Gala Awards Ceremony in association with FBD Insurance takes place at host partner hotel, InterContinental Dublin, on Monday, 16 November 2026.
Celebrating 20 years of Good Food Ireland®, the event will bring together the people and businesses that have helped shape Ireland’s food, drink and culinary tourism story over the past two decades, alongside those driving the industry forward today.
Farmers, food and drink producers, chefs, restaurateurs, hoteliers, tourism operators, destination leaders and industry partners from across the island will gather for an evening celebrating the quality, provenance, innovation and hospitality that have established Ireland as a world-class food and culinary tourism destination.
At the heart of the evening will be the announcement of the Good Food Ireland® 20th Anniversary Awards 2026, recognising excellence across Ireland’s food, drink, hospitality and culinary tourism community.
Good Food Ireland® awards recognise the businesses, producers, experiences and people putting Irish food and drink at the heart of what they do, connecting visitors with Irish produce, people, place, provenance and story.
The 2026 Awards will span Irish hospitality and dining, culinary tourism experiences, sustainability and food and drink production, alongside individual honours celebrating those who have made an exceptional contribution to Ireland’s culinary landscape.

- Five-Star Irish Hospitality Experience of the Year
- Culinary Haven of the Year
- Restaurant Experience of the Year
- Hotel Restaurant Experience of the Year
- Pub Experience of the Year
- Irish Culinary Tourism Experience Award
- Sustainable Culinary Tourism Award
- and the new Best Irish Seafood Experience Award, sponsored by BIM.
Irish producers will also be celebrated across dedicated meat, fruit and vegetable, dairy, fish and seafood, bakery and chocolate, drinks, and sweet and savoury categories, culminating in Overall Irish Producer of the Year.
Further honours include the regional Food Lovers’ Choice Awards, Irish Food & Hospitality Ambassador of the Year, Irish Culinary Tourism Innovation Award, Lifetime Achievement Award and the Supreme Award of the Year, the highest accolade of the Good Food Ireland® Awards.
The 2026 event carries particular significance as Good Food Ireland® celebrates two decades of connecting Irish food and drink with tourism, championing local producers and encouraging visitors to experience Ireland through the people, places and provenance behind its food.
