Dingle Food Festival – Féile Bia Dhaingean Uí Chúis returns on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th October 2026, celebrating the extraordinary food, people and community of Corca Dhuibhne.
Zero Landfill Waste” festival
With its much-loved Taste Trail, street markets, workshops, children’s events, music and street entertainment, the festival offers something for everyone, while continuing its commitment to sustainability and its ambition to be Ireland’s first “Zero Landfill Waste” festival.
At the heart of the weekend is the Taste Trail, with more than 50 local businesses taking part, alongside more than 50 market stalls. Visitors can explore Dingle’s pubs, cafés, restaurants, galleries and shops while sampling an extraordinary range of food and drink. The Bia Dingle Marketplace, in the centre of the town, will highlight the local food of the Dingle Peninsula as festival goers can meet local producers and literally taste the peninsula!
Bringing the wider community together.
The festival programme extends well beyond food, with a number of events bringing the wider community together.
One of the highlights will be the Garvey’s, Great Corca Dhuibhne Milk Race, raising funds for Kerry Mental Health and adding an extra dash of fun and community spirit to the weekend.
The popular Great Daingean Uí Chúis Bake Off will also return, giving young bakers the opportunity to showcase their skills and creativity in a celebration of home baking. And not forgetting the Children’s Events that will take place Saturday and Sunday in the Dingle Town Park.
Get hands-on at the workshops
Food lovers can also get involved in a varied programme of workshops covering everything from wine and cheese to foraging, beekeeping and nutrition.
Highlights include Italian Wines with local sommelier Dáire Ó Lúing, a Potions from the Hedgerows session with the Dingle Druid Juli Ní Mhaoileoin, a Beekeeping Workshop with experienced local beekeeper Tadhg Leahy, and Building Healthy Habits with nutritionist Nell Ní Chíobháin of Anam Nutrition. There will also be a Cheese & Wine Tasting, pairing Irish cheeses with selected wines.
The festival weekend also coincides with Blas na hÉireann – The Irish Food Awards, taking place in Dingle from 1st–4th October, bringing some of Ireland’s leading food producers and food industry professionals to the town.
Sustainability remains central to the festival. Visitors are encouraged to “bear leat do bhabhla” – bring your own bowl, while reusable tableware will be used across the Taste Trail and markets to reduce disposable waste.
With more than 10,000 visitors expected and approximately 150,000 food tastings on offer, Dingle Food Festival 2026 promises a weekend of great food, community, creativity and plenty of fun.
