Seven journalists from Austria – with a combined audience of around 4 million across various print and online publications – are exploring Ireland this week, as guests of Tourism Ireland and Fáilte Ireland.
The group’s itinerary began with a Dublin city food tour with Walking Food Tours.
They continued to Wicklow, where they visited Powerscourt Estate, Powerscourt Distillery, Enniskerry and Glendalough.
The journalists enjoyed a guided e-bike tour of Ballinastoe Woods and visits to Avoca Mill, Beyond the Trees Avondale and Killruddery House & Gardens.
Nadine Lehmann, Tourism Ireland’s Manager for DACH countries (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), said:
