Delight for Sligo Park Hotel with prestigious ‘Great Place to Work’ certification
Sligo Park Hotel has won certification from the globally prestigious ‘Great Place to Work Programme, which recognises organisational and employer excellence.
The four-stage programme, operating in more than 70 countries, aims to help employers to increase productivity, collaboration, engagement, and workplace satisfaction.
Commenting on the award, Sligo Park Hotel Human Resources Manager Mary Halton said: “We are delighted to be certified as a great place to work and to receive recognition from our staff that the company is delivering on what really matters to them.
“In receiving this award, it allows us to share our organisational culture and our employees’ experience. It also allows us to focus on creating a caring environment throughout the hotel.

General Manager and Director, Gerard Moore, said the GPTW award was an achievement celebrated by all at Sligo Park Hotel.
“It demonstrates what we have been doing and emphasises our commitment as a workplace that values talent and our continuous journey for improvement.
“We continually strive to improve and sustain a great workplace culture, and to have our efforts officially recognised through our recent certification as a ‘Great Place to Work’ is a major achievement.
The GPTW programme is broken into four parts. These are a trust index survey of employees, a culture audit of programmes and practices used by a business and the employees’ experience of these, survey results from what employees said across 17 categories and the findings and certification.
If the company receives a positive result of 65% or higher, the company is certified as a ‘Great Place To Work’ having met the threshold.
Irish and Irish-based companies and organisations certified include Avant Money, Woodies, Datalex, CPL, Adobe, the Irish Rugby Football Union and many more.
