Lisa Devlin appointed Spa Manager at Dunboyne Castle Hotel’s relaunched spa
Dunboyne Castle Hotel in County Meath is delighted to announce the appointment of Lisa Devlin as Spa Manager, heading up the facility’s exciting relaunch.
From pampering guests on luxury cruise liners to overseeing openings of leading aesthetics clinics, Lisa’s wealth of experience within the health and wellness industry all stemmed from early beginnings in hospitality. She was introduced to the hospitality sector in her early teens when she began working at one of Northern Ireland’s leading country clubs. The experience developed her passion for creating unforgettable experiences and launched her career in delivering exceptional service.
Fuelled by a love for the beauty and wellness industry, Lisa went on to study Level 3 Spa Therapy at Eastern Regional College Downpatrick and qualified in 2009. She joined the team at the five star Slieve Donard Resort & Spa where she quickly progressed to Head Therapist, before embarking on an exciting adventure aboard luxury cruise liners, delivering exceptional guest wellness journeys around the globe.
On her return to Ireland, Lisa was committed to continuing her personal and professional development and soon took up the position as Clinic Manager at leading laser and aesthetic specialist, Therapie Clinic. In addition to her role as a Skin & Laser Specialist, Lisa spent her four years at Therapie mentoring new team members, managing five departments, and overseeing the opening of new regional clinics.
In her new role at Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa, Lisa has already managed a full 360 refurbishment of the luxury estate’s 1,667 square meter spa. From collaborating with contractors regarding the brand new Thermal Suite, and selecting two new internationally-acclaimed beauty and wellness brands as the basis for the spa’s treatments and rituals, to redefining the brand identity, Lisa is ensuring the overall guest experience will be one of next level luxury.
She says: “I’ve joined Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa at an incredibly exciting time. The renovation and relaunch of The Spa has given me plenty to get stuck into straight off the bat and it’s been a real privilege to help shape the brand and take it to the next level, and this is just the beginning! Now that we’ve relaunched, I cannot wait to get into the day-to-day running of The Spa ensuring our guests enjoy each part of their experience here and hearing what everyone thinks of the new look!”
