New promotional videos ‘tee up’ 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor

Tourism Ireland is teaming up with the Ryder Cup to promote the fact that the 2027 tournament will take place at Adare Manor

The collaboration includes a series of new videos which will be shared with Tourism Ireland’s millions of fans and followers on social media around the world. The videos will also be promoted on the Ryder Cup’s channels during the month of December, where they will deliver almost 12 million impressions (opportunities to see).

The extended four-minute video in the series, titled ‘Golf in Ireland’, features interviews with top golfers Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy, Leona Maguire, Shane Lowry and Pádraig Harrington. It also includes stunning footage captured at some of our top golf courses – including Adare Manor, Lahinch, The K Club, Royal Portrush, Portstewart and Royal County Down – as well as great footage of Slieve League, Achill Island, the Cliffs of Moher, Ross Castle and The Bulman in Kinsale.

Siobhan McManamy, Tourism Ireland’s Director of Markets, said: “Tourism Ireland is delighted to collaborate with the Ryder Cup to promote the fact that the 2027 tournament will take place at Adare Manor. The aim of these videos is to remind people that the island of Ireland offers some of the very best golf in the world, as well as spectacular scenery and fantastic experiences. We look forward to working closely with the Ryder Cup, Sport Ireland and Fáilte Ireland to take every opportunity to leverage the tourism potential of this prestigious sporting event.”

In the video, golfer Leona Maguire says: “We’re spoiled for choice, we have so many fantastic golf courses – there’s so much variety, there’s something for everybody. Even if you’re not a golfer, there’s the food and the hospitality, the music and the culture that goes along with it. Everywhere that I travel in the world, everybody has Ireland on their bucket list.”
