The festive market has been created to celebrate Irish businesses during the Christmas season
Today, Allie Sherlock, one of Ireland’s best-known buskers, turned on the Christmas lights at Bewley’s Café, and launched the Bewley’s Christmas Market, a festive store created by Bewley’s in its iconic Grafton Street home that will support local businesses and producers. From ceramics to books, vinyl records to crafted goods, and Bewley’s very own limited edition Christmas Coffee Blend, the space will be a bustling hub of beautifully curated Irish products guaranteed to put a smile on a loved one face this Christmas.
The Bewley’s Christmas Market has been created to celebrate and profile Irish producers and encourage consumers to shop local and support small businesses during the festive season. This Christmas, Bewley’s, an Irish business with a long history of supporting communities through its arts, culture and charity partnerships, is seeking to continue its support of Irish businesses. It will provide its partner brands with a high footfall retail space to display and sell their products throughout the busy Christmas shopping period. The aim is to shine a light on the wealth of talented producers and makers across Ireland. Independent creators are integral to the fabric of Irish culture and creativity, and what better way to celebrate this than by showcasing them all under one roof.
Bewley’s, Ireland’s leading independent coffee roaster, has partnered with a number of local Irish companies as part of this project including Blanco Nino, Oxmantown Skincare, Pigeon House Candles, Savage Sauces and many more.
The Bewley’s Christmas Market is located on the Johnson’s Court entrance to Bewley’s Café and will be open throughout December.
Jason Doyle, Managing Director of Bewley’s Ireland & UK, “Bewley’s Café is and has been at the heart of Christmas in Dublin for many years. It’s the point where paths cross and friends meet. A place for people to relax and recharge with a fresh coffee and a sticky bun after a long day roaming the streets of the city. Our café is quintessentially Dublin and has always been a beacon for culture, conversation, and connection. Through our Christmas Market and as part of our Christmas campaign, we want to support Irish businesses, community, and culture and provide them with a platform to showcase their products to shoppers in Dublin city. We look forward to welcoming customers into the new Bewley’s Christmas Market”.
Bewley’s Café is also encouraging coffee lovers to get into the festive spirit with its Christmas Drinks Menu. Helping to make Christmas memorable for its loyal customers, these delicious winter warmers create the perfect opportunity to take a moment and reconnect with a loved one while enjoying these festive coffees.
