84 graduates have completed The Leadership Development Programme since it first began.
The senior teams at Cliste Hospitality gathered in Dublin this week to celebrate the graduation of the fifth-year class from its Leadership Development Programme which supports emerging and established leaders across its client portfolio.
84 colleagues in total have now completed the Leadership Development Programme since it first began, a programme that supports leaders within the organisation to further develop in areas around each key aspect of the business.
Experts from outside the industry are brought in to contribute fresh perspectives and new approaches over the course of each 12-month programme, focusing on areas such as leadership, strategy, innovation, and talent management. A key success of this programme is each candidate’s assigned Mentor, a senior figure within The iNUA Hotel Collection who supports and guides each candidate throughout the duration of the programme.
There have been a satisfying number of internal promotions through the five cycles of the LDP since it began, where progression to more senior roles has been actively enhanced through participation in the programme. For example, a Deputy GM has been promoted to GM, or a Spa & Leisure Centre Manager has progressed to Deputy General Manager, as just two examples of the many senior leadership roles that have been supported by the strategic impact of the programme in developing leaders and supporting group projects.
Speaking at the graduation event in Dublin City centre on the 9th September, Deirdre Buckley, Chief People Officer of Cliste Hospitality and The iNUA Hotel Collection, congratulated the graduates from this year’s programme.
“We are delighted to come together to mark the graduation of this year’s candidates on the iNUA Leadership Development Programme,” she said. “It has been another great year of learning, growth and development. Many of our high-achieving LDP candidates have gone on to win industry accolades, and all speak positively about the impact the Leadership Development Programme has had on their development and careers. We look forward to building on the success and impact of the Leadership Development Programme in its upcoming sixth year.”
