Trigon Hotels has been shortlisted for Inhouse Marketing and Communications Team of the Year, and the Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI) Award while the Cork International Hotel has been shortlisted for Hospitality, Leisure and Tourism Business of the Year.
The 14th Eir Business Chambers Ireland Awards is set to take place on Friday, June 26th at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre. The awards celebrate leading Irish businesses across multiple sectors.
Chambers Ireland is the country’s largest business network and the awards reflect the nominees’ performance as a leader in their respective fields. An independent judging panel, made up of industry professionals and seasoned business leaders, will decide the winners, which will be announced at the black tie event.
In-house Marketing and Communications Team of the Year
The Inhouse Marketing and Communications Team at Trigon Hotels led a number of successful campaigns during 2025 including The Metropole Hotel relaunch following a major refurbishment of the hotel’s ground floor, community and purpose-led campaigns including the Community Spirit Awards which recognise volunteers across Cork, and campaigns to promote staycation packages in national and local media.
Equality and Inclusion (DEI) Award
Trigon Hotels has developed a DEI strategy to build a culture where every individual feels respected, valued, and able to contribute fully. This is reinforced through both formal policies and everyday behaviours. Some of the policies introduced across the hotel group are Gender Identity and Expression Policy, Diversity and Inclusion Policy, Menopause in the Workplace Policy, Domestic Violence Support Policy, and Fertility Leave Policy
Hospitality, Leisure and Tourism Business of the Year
The Cork International Hotel consistently receives positive guest feedback across platforms such as TripAdvisor and Google Reviews highlighting the hotel’s exceptional service standards, with praise for staff friendliness, efficiency, and attention to detail.
This is reinforced through robust internal training programmes, ensuring that every team member is empowered to deliver a consistently high standard of service.
