Gather + Gather Ireland received the highest possible rating from the Sustainable Restaurant Association
Gather + Gather Ireland has received the highest possible rating from the Sustainable Restaurant Association — the prestigious 3-Star Food Made Good Award.
This recognition celebrates the company’s leadership in responsible sourcing, community engagement, and environmental action, joining a global network of trailblazers driving positive change in the foodservice industry.
The 3-Star rating, the highest possible under the Sustainable Restaurant Association’s Food Made Good Standard, reflects best-in-class achievement across all aspects of a foodservice operation, from sourcing and community engagement to environmental responsibility.
Managing Director for Gather + Gather Ireland, Pauline Cox, said,
“We’re thrilled to have retained our 3-Star rating, a recognition that highlights our ongoing commitment to sustainability across Society, Sourcing, and Environment. This award celebrates the dedication of our teams, suppliers, and partners, and reinforces our passion for sourcing the finest local ingredients, supporting our communities, and caring for the planet. It inspires us to continue driving positive change through food every day.”
Gather + Gather Ireland was awarded its 2025 3-Star Food Made Good Rating due to measurable impact across the three pillars of the Food Made Good Standard: Sourcing, Society, and Environment.
The Sustainable Restaurant Association recognised Gather + Gather Ireland for its plant-forward menus, which highlight seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, and for its partnerships with over 100 small producers supporting heritage grains, regeneratively reared meats, and fresh produce.
Full-crop purchasing agreements minimise waste while providing farmers with greater confidence, complemented by innovative approaches such as AI-driven tracking and creative reuse of surplus ingredients. Storytelling initiatives—including ‘Meet the Maker’ features, supplier spotlights, and farm visits—connect diners directly to the people and practices behind every dish, reinforcing transparency, community engagement, and environmental stewardship.
By establishing global standards, the Sustainable Restaurant Association is helping create a shared language of sustainability for restaurants and hospitality businesses everywhere.
