Trigon Hotels is celebrating a group of eight team members who have worked with the group for a combined 125 years. Trigon Hotels, which includes The Metropole Hotel and The Cork International Hotel, honoured the team members at the annual Long Service Awards in the Cork International Hotel on Thursday, September 25th 2025.
Among those honoured for their long service was HR Data Analyst Cattleya McCathy, who has been with the company for 15 years.

Cattleya moved to Ireland from The Philippines and took a work placement in the Cork International Hotel in 2010. She worked as a HR Assistant before being promoted to HR and Accounts Assistant and then Group HR Administrator for the hotel group. She started night classes at CIT and completed a degree in HR after which she became Trigon Hotel’s HR Data Analyst, a role she’s held for the past four years.
“I really enjoy my job and the people I work with. My progression from work placement to Data Analyst for the hotel group over the space of 15 years demonstrates the fantastic opportunities there are for people in the hospitality sector.
