CK Studios is proud to announce that internationally recognised hotel photographer Colm Kerr has been awarded the Fellowship of the Irish Photography Federation.
Colm achieved this distinction for his architectural panel featuring iconic London buildings, demonstrating his ability to capture structures with both precision and creative storytelling. The FIPF recognises outstanding photographic excellence and is a significant milestone in a professional photographer’s career.
Speaking on his achievement, Colm said:
“It was always my intention to win IPPVA Photographer of the Year, which I did in 2023. I then set myself the challenge of achieving both QEP and QEV in 2024, and my Fellowship in 2025. I absolutely love what I do – those who have worked with me know this passion drives every project.”
Known for his unique style and attention to detail, Colm specialises in hotel interiors, lifestyle photography, and video production. His exterior images, in particular, have become highly sought after by hotels across Ireland and beyond.
“When it comes to hotel exteriors, a number of factors must be considered – the geographical location, the surroundings, and of course, the weather. Before I take the camera out, I’ve already visualised the result and monitored the conditions to capture it at its best,” he added.
This Fellowship follows a series of international achievements for Colm, including QEP (Qualified European Photographer), QEV (Qualified European Videographer), and IPPVA Photographer of the Year. His work continues to set benchmarks in professional hotel photography.
