Popular Italian travel TV show, ย Kilimangiaro, with approximately 1.2 million viewers per episode has been filming at various locations in Ireland this month.Filming was supported by Tourism Ireland and Fรกilte Ireland.
The episode filmed here is set to air later this year on Italian national TV station Rai 3, showcasing our fantastic outdoor experiences, breathtaking landscapes and warm hospitality.
The crew has been filming at locations such as Athlone Castle, Clonmacnoise, Lough Boora Discovery Park, Jerpoint Glass Studio, Cushendale Woollen Mills, Ballykeefe Distillery and Smithwickโs Experience Kilkenny. The crew also captured footage of a cruise on the River Shannon with Viking Tours Ireland and a traditional Irish music session in Seanโs Bar in Athlone.
