Hastings Hotels has appointed Eoin McGrath as its new sales and revenue director. McGrath, who has worked at the Northern Ireland hotel group since 2016, will be responsible for leading the sales, revenue and reservation teams and will also join the hotel’s board of directors.

His appointment comes as Aileen Martin, commercial director at Hastings Hotels, retires after 30 years at the helm of the group’s sales and commercial operations.

Daughter of the late Sir William Hastings, who founded the hotels group, Aileen joined the family business in 1993 as sales executive. As sales director and commercial director she played a key role in the strategic direction and growth of the group, which has six luxurious properties across Northern Ireland including the five-star Culloden Estate and Spa and the Grand Central Hotel in Belfast.

“I am delighted to announce the appointment of Eoin McGrath as the group’s new sales & revenue director. Eoin joined the business seven years ago as business development manager and we have worked side by side in this time. His progression through the company has been impressive and I am confident that there is no other person to take on my role.”

“I am proud to be taking over Aileen’s role and on a personal note, I would like to thank her for her support, guidance and mentorship over the last seven years,” said Mr McGrath.
