*From €3630.00 pps, guests will be treated to a two-night all-inclusive** stay in one of Ashford Castle’s beautifully appointed Superior State rooms. Checking in on the 31st December, guests will enjoy a New Year celebration like no other, with festive activities for couples and families alike.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
On New Year’s Eve, guests will be welcomed on arrival with mulled wine from 12 noon. The afternoon can be spent exploring the estate before sitting down to Ashford Castle’s renowned afternoon tea offering. Pre-dinner drinks can be enjoyed from 7pm in the Drawing Room, Connaught Room and Prince of Wales Room followed by a Gala Banquet Black Tie dinner in the elegant setting of the George V Dining Room, where guests will enjoy a specially designed menu created by Head Chef Liam Finnegan. The night will culminate with champagne and dancing at midnight as the countdown to 2024 begins.
On New Year’s morning, guests can look forward to a delicious breakfast followed by mimosas and brunch a little later to set up for an afternoon full of adventure. Activities to choose from include archery, falconry, a guided walk with local historian Fintan O’Gorman or a boat cruise on Lough Corrib with live music. Afterwards, guests have the choice of a second activity – a treasure hunt on the estate, sure to be a big hit with families or a round of golf and will get the opportunity to explore the extensive grounds of the estate.
Afternoon tea will be served from 3pm and guests will enjoy a final dinner that evening in their choice of the beautiful George V or for something different, the Dungeon restaurant, located deep below the Castle’s foundations, offering a more intimate dining atmosphere.
On the final morning, guests will enjoy a leisurely breakfast before bidding a fond farewell with equally fond memories of a New Year like no other.
