The Westin Dublin to become The College Green Hotel, Autograph Collection
The Westin Dublin, is set to join Autograph Collection Hotels later this year as The College Green Hotel, Autograph Collection. The new name reflects both the heritage and dynamism of the popular College Green quarter and its contemporary, yet historic locale.
The renowned hotel is owned by the MHL Hotel Collection who have invested in a €10 million phased renovation over recent years. The transformation will culminate in a new brand that will allow the hotel to continue offering unique, authentic, experiences to its guests while catering to the needs of the modern traveller.

The College Green Hotel will offer guests and locals alike an oasis of calm in the heart of the city.
“Having initially considered a renaming to The Westmoreland Hotel, we took on board the feedback from patrons and others, which alongside reflection on our environment and patron experience, informed our decision to opt for a new name. We are very excited to adopt The College Green Hotel as our new brand and are grateful to those who shared their views. It feels right for us and for our patrons, both now and for the future. We will continue as The Westin Dublin for the coming months and look forward to becoming The College Green Hotel at the end of the year.”
Investment over recent years included a stunning remodelling of The Lobby and expansion of the hotel’s iconic, Atrium Lounge, along with the creation of an additional space, the Library, and the addition of 19 new beautifully appointed bedrooms overlooking Trinity College and College Green. The hotel has also completed an extensive bedroom refurbishment and will soon unveil the impressive 105.2 sqm two-story College Suite, which has been physically and aesthetically reimagined. This is the hotel’s most luxurious suite, and guests staying here can now enjoy morning coffee watching the city come to life and spot the landmark views from the comfort of their furnished private balcony and experience personalised services from the check-in and concierge teams as well as a bespoke welcome amenity.
