With an impressive background in the hospitality industry and a track record of success, Garret brings a dynamic and innovative approach to his new role. Throughout his professional journey, Garret has held various leadership positions, demonstrating exceptional skills and expertise. Most notably, he served as the General Manager of Holiday Inn Dublin Airport, where he successfully oversaw the pre-opening and operation of a 421-bedroom hotel, leaving a lasting impact on the property’s success.
Additionally, Garret’s proficiency as the General Manager of Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Express Dublin Airport further solidified his reputation as an industry leader. In this capacity, he managed the seamless operations of two hotels boasting a total of 423 rooms and a large conference center. His achievements included overseeing the construction of a 100-bedroom extension, executing comprehensive refurbishment projects, and spearheading sustainable initiatives.
Garret O’Neill’s illustrious career also encompasses notable tenures at renowned establishments, such as Johnstown House Hotel & Spa, Crowne Plaza Hotel Dundalk, Crowne Plaza Hotel Dublin, Westwood House Hotel Galway, Quality Clarinbridge Court Hotel Galway, and Corrib Great Southern Hotel. These experiences have not only enriched his expertise but also bolstered his proficiency in financial management, human resources, conference and banqueting, and overall hotel operations.
