Owner Paul Walsh, who is celebrating 40 years at the helm of the celebrated period house, has undertaken a recent major revamp, refurbishing existing bedrooms and adding new ones as well as the major restoration of an old stone cottage to house two spacious and beautifully furnished bedrooms with their own private courtyard bedecked with twinkling lights- perfect for lovers.
Five luxury log cabins have been added to the idyllic country retreat, each with its own private balcony, lending privacy, space and unbroken views over the gardens and adjacent countryside.
The hotel is tucked away on 17 acres of beautiful grounds, gardens, and woodlands, with a profusion of seasonal flowers and its own lovely little stream adding to its rural charms.
It is an idyllic venue for photos, always a consideration for couples.
Paul says. “We are looking forward to showcasing the extensive work we have done on Springfort Hall. We have revamped our bedrooms, public areas and our beautiful banquet hall and greatly increased our capacity to 51 bedrooms as well as developing five beautiful and tasteful log cabins”.
“We renovated a beautiful old stone cottage and now have a cosy and character filled two-bedroom cottage with its own courtyard which offers privacy, tranquillity, and space. We are very excited about the 5 luxury log cabins we have built on the grounds. Guests love them, they are beautifully furnished, light, bright and airy and offer lovely views from their individual balconies. Couples who want to include their pet dogs as part of their wedding celebrations naturally love the fact that the dogs have space to walk around, and it all adds to the relaxed, warm, and luxurious ambience of Springfort Hall”. ‘
