One of Wexford’s most iconic establishments reopens its doors and here’s why you must visit!

The Lobster Pot in Carne, County Wexford, has been the place of many happy moments, delicious meals and family memories for over 30 years. In April 2022, Nicola and Josef Zammit, of award-winning restaurant TwoCooks became the new owners of this cherished landmark venue. Their take on traditional seafood dishes was a great surprise among locals and tourists that visited last summer.
After a winter break, the reopening of Lobster Pot is great news for seafood lovers who have been eagerly waiting to savour their favourite dishes such as seafood mornay, squid with wasabi mayonnaise, Connemara oysters, mussels with chorizo and of course, one of the most popular dishes there, the cooked-to-perfection scallops! A bird told us they would also offer pizza and takeaway options very soon.
Apart from the mouth-watering seafood, the ambience of Lobster Pot is also worth mentioning. The cosy and welcoming atmosphere, along with the traditional Irish decor, adds to the charm of the restaurant.
