In 2022 it was estimated that 1 in every 100 children in Ire were diagnosed with Autism but 1 in 44 were identified as being potentially Autistic and are awaiting diagnosis. These numbers are huge and as a Team last year we committed on a path to becoming more neurodivergent friendly. We have already provided training to our staff, in conjunction with AsIAM on what Autism is and more importantly what it isn’t.
More recently we partnered with Sensory House, who designed, manufactured and installed two 2 sensory rooms and sensory family bedroom. This reinforces Pillo Hotels commitment to have a property that is inclusive and available to all.
