The Hardiman, celebrating 170 years in Galway this year, is the ideal location for a welcome break in your Christmas shopping with its festive atmosphere and infamous Christmas Afternoon Tea.
On the doorstep of the Hotel is the annual Galway Christmas Market and visitors can expect to enjoy a wide variety of entertainment and festive stalls including The Big Wheel, Carousel, Santa’s Grotto, the German Bier Keller along with numerous other theatrical delights throughout the four-week fair.
So, sit back and relax in the Parlour Lounge and enjoy a delicious festive selection of freshly made sandwiches including smoked turkey and cranberry aioli on brioche; cured smoked salmon and dill with cream cheese on the Hotel’s popular Guinness brown bread; truffled egg mayonnaise and chive salad on milk pan and beetroot and goats cheese focaccia.
Follow the savouries with sweet delights such as classic red velvet cake, cherry chocolate cheesecake and salted caramel and pistachio tartlet.

Christmas Afternoon Tea is served from 1pm to 4pm on the 11th of November through to 6th January 2023 with a selection of fine teas and freshly roasted coffee and is €32 pp and €39 pp with a glass of bubbles.
