Seven travel agents from the United Arab Emirates are enjoying a fact-finding visit around Ireland this week – as guests of Tourism Ireland and Fáilte Ireland. Specially timed to coincide with the 15th anniversary of Etihad Airways’ operations from Abu Dhabi to Ireland, the visit has been organised in conjunction with Etihad, Amadeus and Leading Hotels of the World.
The aim of this week’s visit is to really enthuse the travel agents about our superb tourism offering and to showcase some of our top hotels, attractions and experiences. Their busy itinerary includes The K Club, Kildare Village, a hawk walk at Ashford Castle, falconry at Adare Manor, The Merrion and the Guinness Storehouse.
