Peter Wilson was Appointed General Manager of The Avalon House Hotel, Kilkenny
The Avalon House Hotel has recently appointed the seasoned hotelier Peter Wilson as its first General Manager. With a career in hospitality spanning over 30 years, Peter brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to this beautifully appointed hotel just twenty minutes from Kilkenny City.
Before joining the Avalon House Hotel team, Peter has had an extensive career and experience in the South East, having managed many outstanding Four and Five star properties, including, The Kilkenny Rivercourt Hotel, Clayton Whites in Wexford, Mount Juliet Estate and Lyrath Estate Hotel.
Speaking about his new role, Peter said: “This is a beautiful property with incredible potential to develop in the future. It is a great pleasure to be back in Kilkenny again and working with a truly passionate young team.
