James Lowe Launches New GBK at Dundrum Town Centre
- Rugby star and Gourmet Burger Kitchen Brand Ambassador James Lowe launches the new GBK outlet at Dundrum Town Centre, which will officially open next week.
- Leinster and Ireland rugby star James, who is GBK’s Brand Ambassador, was on hand to celebrate the opening of the new GBK, located on the top floor of the shopping centre in the food court (level 3).
James Lowe has been the face of GBK Ireland since last August, when he was officially unveiled as the company’s celebrity Brand Ambassador. GBK found James to be the perfect fit given that the concept of “gourmet burgers” started in New Zealand and James is a Kiwi too! James is passionate about great food and supporting local, as are the team behind Gourmet Burger Kitchen.
Speaking at the unveiling of GBK Dundrum, James said; “I’m really enjoying my role as Brand Ambassador with GBK and it’s super to see the brand expanding in Ireland with this new Dundrum Town Centre branch. It is near my house and near where I train so I will be up here a lot, eating their great food and bringing the team along for some quality nosh. There is something for everyone on the menu, from delicious burgers, to salads and bunless options for the health conscious. Today I am enjoying the seasonal “Silent Bite” burger which is on the menu for Christmas!”
About the Seasonal “Silent Bite” Burger at GBK
The “Silent Bite” burger is exclusively in Gourmet Burger Kitchen from now until early January. It is made with 100% Irish beef, Dubliner cheddar, parsnip crisps, cranberry mayo, pomegranate seeds and topped with a pig in a blanket! Christmas in a bun!
GBK Growth Plans
Gourmet Burger Kitchen at Dundrum will create up to 30 new jobs at the centre and is currently still recruiting for various positions. (apply at [email protected])
This will be GBK’s 5th Dublin outlet with plans to open others in 2022.
