You Dine We Donate – Oliver Dunne Restaurants Donates €6,000 to Charity Partner Aware

The ‘Oliver Dunne Restaurant Group’ is a proud charity partner of Aware. Aware undertakes to create a society where people affected by stress, depression, bipolar disorder and mood related conditions are understood, supported, free from stigma, and are encouraged to access appropriate therapies.

As a group, we support Aware’s message of hope: recovery is possible and we wanted to step up and play our part in trying to make a difference. We believe in leading an example and try to help support our people, our staff, and our community. Sometimes life gets us down and you have to be strong for yourself. You have to know that you are a good person, a good partner, and a good friend. We can all have dark days, and during these days it’s reassuring to know that a friendly, supportive voice from the Aware team is just a phone call away!

Oliver Dunne Restaurants launched the #YouDineWeDonate campaign in support of Aware. For every dinner booking made, Oliver Dunne Restaurants donated €5 per reservation across all venues to Aware. Oliver Dunne Restaurants are proud to announce the You Dine We Donate campaign generated €6,000; donated to Aware to provide support for vulnerable people experiencing mental health difficulties across Ireland today.

Drew Flood, Business Development Executive at Aware commented on the You Dine We Donate Campaign: “Oliver Dunne Restaurants has been an incredible supporter of Aware since 2019, bringing attention to the topic of mental health and raising much needed funds for the organisation. Despite the hospitality industry facing many challenges of its own over the last year, Oliver Dunne Restaurants chose to support Aware and the many people impacted by anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder. We have seen a significant increase in demand for our services as the nation adjusts to the impacts of Covid-19. The funds raised as part of their #YouDineWeDonate campaign will have a direct and positive impact on individuals and communities throughout Ireland. Thank you for your support.”

The Aware Support Line service is a free service and is available to anyone, aged 18 years and over, who is seeking support and information about issues relating to their own mood or the mood of a friend or family member, or who experiences depression, anxiety or bipolar disorder.
