New Tourism Ireland film showcases our spectacular ‘Noises of Nature’

Tourism Ireland has unveiled a new online film highlighting our wonderful wildlife and the spectacular nature to be found right around Ireland.

Titled ‘Noises of Nature’, the film features beautiful footage of our wildlife – including stags at play, puffins feeding, whales splashing and swans in flight. It aims to build anticipation for holidays in Ireland later this summer. The message is that “it’s been a tad quiet recently, but these green lands are anything but asleep … and when the time is right, we look forward to having you with us”.

The film is being promoted now in key tourism markets, including the United States, Canada, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, the Nordic countries, Switzerland and the UAE – to Tourism Ireland’s millions of fans and followers on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. It will be promoted in Great Britain in July. A dedicated page on Tourism Ireland’s website, Ireland.com, is also showcasing our ‘Noises of Nature’.

Siobhan McManamy, Tourism Ireland’s Director of Markets, said: “Our new online film is a fun way of shining a spotlight on our wonderful wildlife and spectacular nature. Tourism Ireland is now working hard to build anticipation for holidays here later this summer. As international travel begins to restart, we will be pulling out all the stops to promote Ireland as a safe, welcoming and ‘must-see’ destination across the world. Our message is that we can’t wait to roll out the green carpet and welcome back our overseas visitors.”

The ‘Noises of Nature’ film is part of Tourism Ireland’s #FillYourHeartWithIreland (#FYHWI) social media campaign – which has been running since April 2020, to keep Ireland front and centre in the minds of future visitors around the world. To date, the campaign has achieved excellent engagement with Tourism Ireland’s fans and followers on social media – delivering 1.95 billion impressions (or opportunities to see), 145 million video views and around 13 million engagements on Facebook, as well as 11 million likes on Instagram and 348,000 engagements on Twitter.
