A Virtual Celebration for the teams at Ashford Castle and The Lodge at Ashford
Every year, teams from across The Red Carnation Hotel Collection (Red Carnation Hotels) gather in London for a week of learning, cross-training, and conferences, which then culminates in an evening of style and celebration at the glittering Staff Appreciation Awards.
This year was slightly different. The teams came together in a virtual setting for a week of talks, training, and sharing before finishing with a very special awards ceremony on Microsoft Teams. Similar to the ‘real thing’, the event was hosted by members of the Tollman family, MC’d by Managing Director, Jonathan Raggett, and attended by hundreds of staff from around the world.
Red Carnation was truly honoured to have had the opportunity to celebrate its team members who went above and beyond in 2019, and indeed 2020, in the much-anticipated event.
Congratulations to all of the winners on the evening, especially Philippe Farineau, awarded Chef of the Year 2019, Emer Mulcahy, awarded Front Office Manager of the Year 2019, Martin Dunleavy (The Lodge at Ashford Castle), awarded linen Porter of the Year 2019 and to Paula Carroll who picked up the Lifetime Achievement Award for her impassioned service and dedication to the Castle, The Lodge at Ashford Castle and Red Carnation Hotels.
