Sodexo Ireland is delighted to announce that CEO, David Fox, was named Businessperson of the Year at the 2026 eir Business Chambers Ireland Awards. The award recognises David’s leadership of the business which has nearly 3,000 colleagues delivering food and facilities management services at over 200 client sites across the island of Ireland.

Following a record-breaking year for entries and a highly competitive independent adjudication process, David’s win reflects his outstanding leadership, strategic vision, and the impact he has made in driving Sodexo Ireland’s continued growth and success.
Under David’s leadership, Sodexo Ireland has delivered sustained commercial growth while maintaining strong profitability and high levels of client retention, reflecting its continued focus on service excellence and long-term partnerships.

David’s collaborative and hands-on leadership style, together with his focus creating impact for customers, colleagues and communities, has helped shape Sodexo Ireland’s continued success. His commitment to developing people and building long-term client partnerships was recognised by the judges in naming him Businessperson of the Year.
