New specialist spa treatments support guests living with and beyond cancer and Breakthrough Cancer Research

Hayfield Manor, Cork, part of Ireland’s Scally Hotel Collection, is proud to announce the launch of specialist cancer care treatments, developed in partnership with Ground Wellbeing.

Thoughtfully designed to support guests living with and beyond cancer, the treatments will also be delivered in support of Breakthrough Cancer Research, the luxury boutique hotel’s chosen charity partner.

“Care has always been at the heart of the Hayfield Manor Spa experience. This new offering represents a significant and meaningful evolution of that commitment, extending world-class wellness to guests at every stage of their cancer journey.

We are incredibly proud to be leading the way in inclusive luxury wellness, and we look forward to welcoming guests to experience these exceptional treatments, because everyone deserves the opportunity to rest, restore, and feel cared for,” said Spa Manager Sarah O’Shea.

A Partnership with Purpose

Hayfield Manor Spa’s cancer care treatments have been developed in close collaboration with Cork-based Ground Wellbeing, whose industry-leading expertise in inclusive and specialist wellness has shaped every element of the offering. Central to the treatments is the Barróg product range, a collection specifically formulated to nurture, comfort, and support skin and overall wellbeing.

The Hayfield Manor Spa team has undergone rigorous, professional training with Ground Wellbeing, equipping each therapist with the specialist knowledge, confidence, and sensitivity required to deliver safe, personalised, and deeply meaningful care. These are not standard spa treatments adapted for a new audience, they are genuinely specialised and delivered with consideration, compassion, and clinical awareness.

“When we developed our Cancer Care Training three years ago, Hayfield Manor was our wonderful incubation hub and first training venue. It has since been our proud flagship for these special treatments.

Hayfield Manor leadership from General Manager Gerhard Erasmus and Spa Manager Sarah O’Shea has always been heartfelt and sincere- Cork is beyond fortunate to have this specialised offering on its doorstep,” said Ground Wellbeing founder Peigín Crowley.

Supporting Breakthrough Cancer Research Through Every Treatment

In a gesture that reflects Hayfield Manor’s broader commitment to making a positive difference, a portion of the proceeds from every Barróg treatment will be donated to Breakthrough Cancer Research.
