Solo Travellers Invited to Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Wander Wild Festival

Monday, February 09, 2026. 1:22pm

Wander Wild Festival is inviting you to swap chocolate for connection and book yourself a solo adventure in April.

If you’re flying solo this Valentine’s Day, why not swap chocolate for connection and book yourself a solo adventure at Wander Wild Festival, filled with self-discovery and like-minded people.

The festival, which takes place from 17th-19th April in the breathtaking 26,000-acre UNESCO-protected Killarney National Park, is perfect for independent travellers – solo travellers are welcome and there’s no fixed itinerary. With over 100 outdoor, cultural and wellness experiences, the festival creates natural opportunities for connection with people who have similar interests in movement, nature and shared experiences.

From sunrise dips to evening fireside chats, Wander Wild offers countless relaxed, welcoming moments to meet others – or simply enjoy time to yourself. All events are individually ticketed, with many free to attend, making it easy for attendees to curate a programme that suits their pace, mood and interests.

Whether you are looking for adventure, stillness, fun or connection, this year’s programme offers something that will stay with you long after the weekend ends.

Highlights for solo travellers include:

  • Begin your morning with a sunrise dip at Dundag Beach, followed by a rejuvenating lakeside sauna overlooking Muckross Lake and the surrounding mountains—the perfect sensory reset.
  • Join adventure content creator Tadhg O’Brien on the Mangerton Social Summit, a welcoming, social hike to North Mangerton Mountain designed to bring people together on the trail. (tickets on sale in the coming days)
