Aramark Ireland saw increased activity in 2025, driven by demand across its sports, events and hospitality portfolio and continued investment in people, technology and sustainability.
The company delivered services at 55 major national and international events during the year, including fixtures and festivals at Croke Park, Thomond Park, Punchestown and the K Club. A standout moment was Dublin’s Croke Park hosting Ireland’s first ever NFL regular season game, underlining the scale and complexity of operations now being delivered in Ireland.
Kevin McGinley, Managing Director of Aramark Food Solutions Ireland, said the year reflected both operational strength and growing client expectations.

“2025 was one of our busiest and most commercially significant years. We supported a packed calendar of concerts, sporting fixtures and premium events, while continuing to raise standards around food quality, service delivery, and operational efficiency.”
Sustainability remained a core business priority. At the Amgen Irish Open, Aramark sourced 85% of ingredients from Irish suppliers, reduced on site vehicle movements by more than 20%, and cut food waste by 18% through live forecasting and demand planning. Plastic bottles were replaced with aluminium alternatives, and a reusable cup scheme removed an estimated 140,000 single use cups. The event operated on a zero waste to landfill basis.
Technology investment also accelerated in 2025. Aramark expanded frictionless checkout systems at Croke Park, introduced mobile beer units to improve throughput at peak times, and upgraded concession layouts to enhance customer flow and dwell time. Alongside this, the company delivered a Transition Year programme supporting 90 students across Punchestown, Croke Park and the Irish Open, strengthening early engagement with future talent.
McGinley said Aramark’s focus in 2026 will be on scaling innovation while maintaining operational consistency.
“We will continue to invest in digital forecasting, workforce development and sustainable practices as our business grows.”
Aramark now operates across more than 400 sites in Ireland, employs 8,873 colleagues, welcomed 3,445 new colleagues in the past year, and has a workforce representing over 80 nationalities, reflecting the breadth, resilience and diversity of its national operation.
