The Granville Hotel, Waterford, is proud to announce that its staff and guests have together raised an outstanding €10,372.11 throughout 2025 in support of Waterford Hospice, the hotel’s chosen Charity of the Year.
The fundraising effort was driven by the enthusiasm, creativity, and community spirit of the Granville team. Staff took part in a series of initiatives over the year, including sponsored cycles and swims, breakfast mornings, and a new recycling project collecting cans for donation.
The hotel also launched its now-beloved Granville Porridge Packs, which became a guest favourite and contributed significantly to the fundraising total.
General Manager of the Granville Hotel Michael Skehan said:
“Waterford Hospice holds a very special place in the hearts of our team, our patrons, and the wider Waterford community. We are incredibly proud of the commitment shown by our staff and the generosity of our guests throughout the year. This donation represents the spirit of our hotel and our city—supporting those who help others in their most difficult times.”
Funds raised will help Waterford Hospice continue providing specialist palliative care, bereavement support, and essential community services to families across Waterford and the South East.
