The ‘Wake & Wander’ Getaway at Lough Erne Resort is designed to blend luxury relaxation with the region’s flourishing artisan coffee scene.

With over 70 per cent of adults in Northern Ireland drinking more than one cup of coffee a day – and 13per cent consuming five or more* – coffee has become an integral part of everyday life.

Reflecting this vibrant local passion, Lough Erne Resort in Fermanagh has launched the Wake & Wander Getaway, a new overnight stay package designed to blend luxury relaxation with the region’s flourishing artisan coffee scene.

The Wake & Wander Getaway invites guests to unwind with an overnight stay and a lakeside breakfast at the Resort’s award-winning Catalina Restaurant, celebrated for its use of fresh, locally sourced ingredients and stunning water vistas. The package also includes a complimentary coffee and traybake voucher redeemable at one of three highly regarded Fermanagh cafés: LYDIA and The Croft Farm Shop in Enniskillen, and The Thatch in Belleek.

According to research commissioned by Musgrave in March 2025, lattes are the preferred coffee choice for 28 per cent of Northern Irish coffee drinkers,* a trend that perfectly suits the café experience offered with this getaway.

These independent coffee spots are known for their artisanal brews and local hospitality, providing visitors with an authentic taste of the region’s growing coffee culture.

Gareth Byrne, General Manager of Lough Erne Resort, said:

“The package was created to celebrate the importance of coffee in local life while supporting small businesses.

“Our Wake & Wander Getaway showcases the best of Fermanagh’s natural beauty alongside the vibrant coffee culture that has become such a key part of life here,” he said. “It offers guests a unique chance to relax and explore, enjoying high-quality coffee from some of our favourite local cafés.”

In addition to coffee and culinary delights, guests have access to the Resort’s amenities, including the infinity pool and wellness facilities at the Thai Spa, and scenic strolls along the Collop Walk, a lakeside trail through the estate’s expansive grounds.

The package offers coffee enthusiasts and visitors alike an immersive, relaxing escape in Northern Ireland’s stunning Lakelands in the heart of the Fermanagh.
