The four-star Midlands Park Hotel in Portlaoise Scoops Spa of the Year and Fitness Class Instructor of the Year
Midlands Park Hotel in Portlaoise is proud to announce a double victory at the prestigious 2025 Midlands 103 Customer Service Awards which took place on Monday, 9th June at The Tullamore Court Hotel.
The four-star hotel’s in-house spa, Midlands Park Spa & Beauty, was named Spa of the Year, reflecting its commitment to relaxation, wellness and outstanding customer care. In addition, Derinn Byrne from Midlands Park Hotel Health & Fitness Club took home Fitness Class Instructor of the Year, in recognition of her dedication to promoting health and wellbeing among hotel guests and community members.
Now a highlight of the regional business calendar, the Midlands 103 Customer Service Awards shines a spotlight on outstanding service across counties Laois, Offaly and Westmeath. The gala event drew over 500 guests to pay tribute to individuals and companies that go above and beyond for their customers and guests every day. It followed weeks of intense on-air and online promotion, with more than 12,000 votes cast by listeners across 60+ categories.
The ultimate winners were chosen by an independent judging panel led by architect and Home of the Year star, Hugh Wallace. The panel also included author and money coach Kel Galavan, content creator Andrea Woods, and Irish fashion and lifestyle influencer Michelle Fitzpatrick. All judges dedicated countless hours to reviewing nominations, analysing feedback and researching businesses to ensure an impartial and thorough evaluation.
