The Little Museum of Dublin to reopen this week following €4.3m renovation

The Little Museum of Dublin ranked the number one ‘thing to do’ in Dublin open to the public on June 5th

On June 4th at 10am the Lord Mayor of Dublin Emma Blain will officially reopen the Little Museum of Dublin on St. Stephen’s Green,after a €4.3m renovation and refurbishment generously supported by Fáilte Ireland, Dublin City Council, the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, and benefactors. 

The museum will open to the public on June 5th at 9.30 where visitors can look forward to enjoying an expanded and reimagined exhibition space, a new reception area, a new youth education space, an integrated lift to improve accessibility, a sun trap patio and an enriched collection of artefacts donated by the people of Ireland.

The Little Museum of Dublin is ranked number 12 on Trip Advisor’s top 25 attractions in Europe and the number one ‘thing to do’ in Dublin.
