Family-Run Business Launches ‘The Grinch’ Inspired Festive Afternoon Tea

Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel has officially launched its ‘Grinchmas’ Afternoon Tea experience running every Saturday from November 23rd – December 28th. An ode to the old-world charm of the castle incorporating a festive twist, this exclusive offering promises to evoke a wave of nostalgia amongst ‘whos’ of all ages.

The renowned culinary team at Fitzpatrick Castle have curated a special Grinch-worthy menu, incorporating festive favourites such as christmas ‘who’ pudding, as well as savoury turkey and ham treats. The Grinchmas afternoon tea will be served in the renowned PJ’s Restaurant, with enchanting festive decor to bring the festive spirit to life.

Commenting on the launch, Co-Directors of Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel, Mark and Joseph Scott Lennon said: “We’re pleased to introduce our ‘Grinchmas Afternoon Tea’ at Fitzpatrick Castle. Building on the success of our Regency Era Afternoon Tea, this festive edition brings a seasonal twist to a well-loved tradition, crafted by our talented culinary team.”

Set amongst stunning castle grounds , the ‘Grinchmas Afternoon Tea’ will see the castle transformed into a Christmas wonderland, inspired by Dr Seuss’s beloved character. With festive themed cocktails, nostalgic Christmas music and an omnipresent theme of green and red, the Grinchmas Afternoon tea is guaranteed to put you in the festive mood.

The Grinchmas Afternoon tea experience will take place in Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel every Saturday from November 23rd- December 28th, priced at €35 per person, with an array of themed cocktails available.
