Sustainability Award for Killeavy Castle
Killeavy Castle Estate in Armagh has been named Sustainable Hospitality and Tourism Business of the Year at the Business Eye Sustainability Awards 2024.
“This award recognises Killeavy Castle Estate’s commitment to eco-tourism and sustainable hospitality” said Director of Hospitality, Adrian Martin.
“It celebrates our unwavering dedication to eco-friendly practices across our operations and to driving impactful sustainable change for the benefit of future generations.”
Executive Head Chef Darragh Dooley says they have made a conscious decision to cut food miles with their estate-reared beef and venison, kitchen garden and farm shop.
They are also planting 80 native trees on the estate this year.
