The Design Story of Pen & Player
Located in 3-4 Harcourt Street, offering picturesque views of St. Stephen’s Green, Pen & Player boasts an intimate and unique atmosphere. Its interior design pays homage to the architectural heritage of the Georgian buildings it calls home while tastefully incorporating modern elements.
Panoramic French fabric wall coverings, set Pen & Player apart from Dublin’s social scene. The bar exudes art deco-inspired aesthetics, with a moody colour palette featuring deep burgundy tones and ornate ceiling coving that creates an opulent ambiance. In contrast, the vibrant bar area features midnight finishes, integrated lighting, decorative wall lights, and pink smoked mirrors that add a touch of glamour.
The furniture selection elegantly combines plush French velvets and supple leather, evoking a sense of classical boudoir elegance. Natural quartz surfaces, with chic vein patterns, add a modern touch, complementing the overall theme. Ornate Georgian ceiling coving has been meticulously restored, providing a perfect stage for Italian Murano glass chandeliers. Antique brass wall and table lights provide soft, inviting illumination.
