You Had Me at Katsu: Wagamama Ireland Celebrates International Katsu Curry Day
Wagamama Ireland is gearing up to celebrate one of the most iconic dishes on their menu next week. The dish comes in the form of a tantalizing combination of crispy breaded cutlets and rich, aromatic curry sauce – it is, of course, the classic Katsu Curry. A crowd favorite since Wagamama opened its doors in 1992, with hundreds and thousands of plates sold to Katsu Curry enthusiasts across the globe to date.
Free Katsu’s to Celebrate International Katsu Curry Day
Yes, that’s right, there’s a whole day dedicated to the beloved Japanese Katsu Curry, and Wagamama, the original purveyors of the delicious curry dish in Ireland, have the perfect way to mark the occasion. On Wednesday, 27th September, free Katsu Curries will be given to the first 50 people that order the dish between 3pm – 5pm across all the Dublin locations. So, if you’re a lover of either Chicken or Yasai Katsu Curry, make sure you head to your nearest location in time to receive one courtesy of Wagamama.
If you can’t make it on the day, don’t worry, Chicken and Yasai Katsu Curries are available to enjoy from the restaurant’s three Dublin venues for €16.95. An alternative for those who would prefer a lighter option – the Katsu Salad. Introduced this summer and includes mixed leaves, apple slices, cucumber, and other deliciously fresh ingredients. Due to popular demand, it’s sticking around for the next few months!
