Cool Hand Coffee Roasters’ three locations in Dublin have become a destination for coffee lovers to discover coffee beans from around the globe, explore a world of flavour, and even create their own bespoke blends. Now, there’s a new range of coffee workshops, offering a unique insight into what goes into making the perfect cup of coffee in the flagship store on Upper Baggot Street.
The three courses are perfect for beginners, whether your interest lies in ‘Brewing’, ‘Latte Art’ or ‘Roasting’, or attend all three and become a coffee afficionado! A mix of fascinating facts, and actual practical hands on experience, this is a great opportunity to get a great grounding in all things coffee!!
The workshops are facilitated weekly, on a Saturday afternoon from 12pm and last 3 hours. Due to popular demand, participants must book their place online prior to the event via www.coolhandcoffeeroasters.ie/workshop/. All workshops are held in the Upper Baggot Street store.

Introduction to Home Coffee Brewing Workshop
For those who love their cup of joe, this is the perfect introduction to brewing great coffee at home. Cool Hand focuses on the science behind the process and how it impacts your coffee in a way that helps you choose what method suits each brewing occasion. You’ll learn all the tricks of the trade while exploring what you like and why, then we’ll set you on your way toward a perfect brew! This workshop covers all brewing methods. Introduction to Latte Art
Looking to take your espresso game to the next level? Here, Cool Hand will introduce the fundamentals of creating basic designs with milk art, before moving on to more advanced techniques. Cool Hand will share their knowledge and teach you everything you need to know, so no previous experience is necessary! You’ll have the opportunity to create your own design before being guided through the creation of a masterpiece, using your own imagination. Learn from the best with this fun and interactive coffee workshop, led by an world-class barista. It is aimed at coffee enthusiasts and professionals alike looking to increase their qualifications and expand their knowledge. Cost: €50 per person
Roasting Fundamentals Workshop
Cool Hand’s Coffee Roasting Workshop is the perfect starting point to learn the foundations of coffee roasting. Covering everything from coffee grading and green coffee structure, to equipment operation and maintenance, roast profiling and basic blending techniques, this course will give you a sound understanding of coffee science. If you love coffee and want to eventually make your own, then this course is for you. Whether you want to begin roasting as an individual hobby or are on a mission to establish your own coffee business, this course will provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to roast coffee at home.
