The first new services for Bookassist clients from this new synergy will launch before the end of the year
Bookassist has announced that it will join Juniper Group, an operating group of Constellation Software Inc. (TSX: CSU) on 1st January 2027, bringing its newly rebuilt, AI-driven booking platform into one of the strongest travel technology groups in the world.
For the past two years, Bookassist has been rebuilding. The company has made its largest-ever investment in research and development, put artificial intelligence at the centre of how they design, build and deliver their products, and strengthened their senior leadership team with people who know hotel distribution inside out. That work is now done, and Bookassist is ready for what comes next.
What comes next is the move to Juniper Group, which is focused entirely on travel and hospitality. Bookassist moves from its current parent, Vertus, to Juniper officially on 1st January 2027, and the transition is already well underway.

Hotels don’t buy technology for its own sake. They buy it to win more direct bookings, cut distribution costs, and give guests a better experience from first search to checkout. Joining Juniper opens up a wealth of possibilities for Bookassist client hotels, putting Bookassist alongside sister companies that cover almost every one of those guest-journey moments, including DerbySoft, Leonardo Worldwide, Ariane Systems, Vizergy, Hotetec, RezMagic, Roibos and many more.
Advanced and industry-leading solutions in metasearch connectivity and management, digital asset and content management, automated check-in and check-out, website design and digital marketing, GDS connectivity and distribution management, group and event-based travel are all now part of the wider group that includes Bookassist. Juniper will also keep acquiring companies in this space, with the specific aim of widening what every member company can offer its clients.
For a Bookassist hotel, that means access to a far broader set of proven solutions, connected to a platform that has just been rebuilt for speed, intelligence and scale.
“This is a turning point for Bookassist,” said Don Cronin, CEO. “We’ve spent the last two years investing heavily in our technology, in our use of AI and in our leadership team, so that we can deliver more for hotels, faster. Joining Juniper multiplies what that investment can achieve. This is an exciting time for the evolution of Bookassist and for the services we can offer our client hotels. Together with our sister companies, we touch so much of the guest journey that we can truly make a difference to a hotel’s revenue and margin in ways that others simply can’t.”
The first new services for Bookassist clients from this new synergy will launch before the end of this year, for both new and existing clients. The company will share details very soon on what this new move could mean for your hotel’s direct revenue and distribution costs.
