Leyre Veloso Cruz, Guest Relations Supervisor at Conrad Dublin, was honoured as Employee of the Year at the recent Irish Hotels Federation 2023/2024 Employee of the Year Awards. The awards ceremony, held on Thursday 7th December at Dublin’s Aloft was a momentous evening celebrating some of the best staff in the bustling Irish hotel scene.
Leyre took home the supreme award in the ceremony, standing out in a list of 21 stellar nominees from hotels across Ireland. She was recognised for her valuable contributions to both the guest experience and team culture at Conrad Dublin, as well as her positive impact on Ireland’s tourism industry.
Leyre has been the Guest Relations Supervisor at Conrad since November 2022 – a role which sees her be the port of call for hundreds of guests at Conrad Dublin every day, ensuring they have a luxurious and restful experience at the 5-star hotel. Prior to settling in Dublin, she also spent time managing guest experiences and receptions in hotels in Prague and Valencia.
Leyre was nominated for the Employee of the Year award by Conrad Dublin’s General Manager, Andrew Moore, who says that Leyre’s recognition is a momentous occasion for the luxury hotel.
