Stimulated by the beauty of their surroundings, Mount Falcon have reimagined their wonderful hospitality offering for guests alongside their excellent team of hospitality professionals. Taking Government Health Guidelines, minimal contact, health and safety and social distancing into serious account, Mount Falcon have invested heavily in creating an attractive outdoor tented area for socially distanced Al Fresco Summer dining and drinks. A newly erected Bamboo stretch tent blends perfectly into the beautiful tree lined area adjacent to the main hotel which will give safety, security and peace of mind to both hotel guests and those staying at the luxury lodges and of course their staff.

Mount Falcon’s wonderfully talented head chef, Tom Doyle has also created an inspired Al fresco dining experience to include mouth watering BBQ and Pizza menus to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. All ingredients are sourced from the finest of local Mayo and West of Ireland producers.

Mount Falcon is a stunning 100 acre parkland estate located on the N26 between the towns of Foxford and Ballina, County Mayo. The original baronial manor house, designed by James Franklin Fuller, an architect of some considerable repute, having designed part of Ashford Castle, Kylemore Abbey, Parknasilla, Tinakilly and Farmleigh amongst others, dates back to 1876 and a bygone age of field sport gentry. Adjoining Ireland’s most prolific salmon river, the River Moy, the parkland estate is a unique ecosystem hosting 197 species of trees, 42 species of our native birdlife and a litany of fauna including red squirrels, rabbits, hares, foxes, badgers, pine martens, hedgehogs and 8 of our native species of bats. Our heritage testifies that we are the original home of the falcon and currently two stunning peregrine falcons reside here along with a host of other birds of prey in our aviaries. Please note that the Leisure facilities and Spa at Mount Falcon will remain closed in the immediate future.

The Maloney family, who emanate from the region, developed the estate in 2006 by restoring and extending the original manor house into a 4 star deluxe, multi award winning hotel while simultaneously sensitively developing a selection of 3 & 4 bedroom lodges nestled around the estate.
