John and Francis Brennan are pleased to announce that they have recently acquired the Lansdowne Arms Hotel in Kenmare. It will be rebranded as The Lansdowne Kenmare and will reopen after extensive renovations in Spring 2021.

On reopening The Lansdowne Kenmare will offer 28 charming bedrooms, The Lansdowne Café featuring 3fe coffee open daily from 8am for bites and The Lansdowne Bar serving flavoursome food from 12.30 daily. The ethos of The Lansdowne is very much a warm, welcoming town hotel making the best of everything local. A place that belongs, as this heritage corner of Kenmare has since 1790.

Sitting proudly at the entrance to Kenmare it is the perfect offspring for its sister property the Park Hotel Kenmare. Both properties hold a special place in the heritage of Kenmare and this tradition will continue.

John Brennan” We are thrilled to be in a position to bring a new vitality and style to this historic hotel. One of the oldest hotels in Ireland, we look forward to filling it with new life and style which we hope will bring additional visitors to the special place we live, Kenmare. “

Francis Brennan” Kenmare is a wonderful town, and we look forward to adding a new zest to The Lansdowne Kenmare whilst still respecting its rich history and unique location.”

Note: John and Francis Brennan are the owners of the legendary Park Hotel Kenmare. John and Gwen Brennan are the owners of Dromquinna Manor, Kenmare. John and Francis are presenters of the RTE production At Your Service and are regular commentators on hospitality in Ireland.
