Barry Francis Has Been Appointed As General Manager Of The Wilder Townhouse

Barry Francis has been appointed as General Manager of The Wilder Townhouse, Dublin's finest residents only Townhouse. The Malahide native brings with him a wealth of experience in the hospitality sector that spans 25 years. 

Hospitality is in Barry’s blood. He and his brothers worked in the sector in London during the late nineties, and Barry cut his teeth as a luggage porter for the famed Fore Crest, Regent's Park before building an impressive career in hospitality management. 

Barry has dedicated a quarter of a century to working with some of the UK and Ireland's most impressive high-end hotel names. He has previously worked with The Park Plaza London Hotel Group as Regional Revenue Manager, before making the move back home to Dublin in 2006 to work with The Dylan Hotel. His time at The Dylan culminated in Barry's appointment as General Manager, having previously developed a nuanced understanding of every aspect of the business in his varying roles that included Revenue Manager, a Sales and Marketing position, and Operations Manager. His career has also seen him work with well-known Irish hospitality brands such as Aloft Dublin. 

Speaking about his appointment as General Manager of The Wilder, Barry said; “It is a great pleasure and opportunity to have joined the team here at The Wilder Townhouse as General Manager. It’s a beautiful property, steeped in history, lovingly restored and I am excited about the future and opportunities that this appointment will present.”
