The Bodegas Torres surname has been related to wine for more than three centuries, when the family planted the first vines in the Penedès, Spain. Since it was founded in 1870, Bodegas Torres has managed to combine tradition and innovation with the aim of leading the premium quality wine and brandy sector, always producing with the utmost respect for the environment.
Showcasing one of their most renowned “Single Vineyards”, Mas La Plana, this respected wine house is set to host a luxury Private Wine Evening in the stunning setting of The Terrace at The Carriage House on the grounds of Adare Manor. The evening will showcase three vintages of Mas La Plana, along with two others from the Familia Torres wines, paired with a four-course Spanish-style menu, created by Adare Manor’s Head Chef at The Carriage House restaurant, John O’Leary. A limited number of guests can be accommodated at this special evening and these places must be reserved in advance.
The evening will be jointly hosted by Jurica Gojevic – Head Sommelier at Adare Manor, Lucas Gailhac – Brand Ambassador of Bodegas Torres, and Mick O’Connell - Portfolio Developer at Findlater & Co. The evening will commence with a wine and tapas reception in The Carriage House Terrace, followed by a four-course dinner, which will include braised octopus, grilled pork secreto, Mahon cheese and chocolate mousse with warm churros. These stunning dishes will be accompanied by specially chosen wines, including the Mas La Plana 2013, Sauvignon Blanc Fresola 2017, and Verdon Kennet “Cuvee Esplendor” Cava.
