MHL Hotel Group To Partner With The Irish Hospice Foundation

The MHL Hotel Group has chosen the Irish Hospice Foundation (IHF) as its charity partner for 2019. The group, which operates 11 hotels across the country, will raise funds and awareness for the IHF through employee led initiatives, supported and promoted by company management.

Speaking about the new partnership, MHL Director Paul Higgins said: “This charity is very close to the hearts of many of our employees. We admire very much the work they do and look forward to working with them in the year ahead.” The selection of the IHF was made in consultation with MHL employees, who have already raised over €3,000 through a special raffle at their staff Christmas party. CEO of the Irish Hospice Foundation, Sharon Foley: “We are delighted MHL and their employees so value the work that we do that they have selected us as their charity partner for 2019. I am certain that together we will achieve a lot over the coming year and we will make further impact on our mission to make Ireland a place where everyone can access the best end-of-life care and bereavement support.”

At the IHF, the belief is everyone in Ireland has the right to die with care, respect and dignity. As Ireland’s only charity dedicated to death, dying and bereavement, their programmes and services bring the best in care to local communities, residential facilities and family homes. They upskill hospital and healthcare professionals to provide best quality care in life, death and bereavement. For further information visit www.hospicefoundation.ie
