Tadhg McGillicuddy has been promoted to Deputy General Manager at Ballygarry House Hotel. Tadhg has been with Ballygarry since 2013 as Assistant Manager and, more recently, Food & Beverage Manager. Having attained a degree in Hotel and Catering Management at GMIT, Tadhg gained experience in Dublin’s 5* Merrion Hotel, in the 5* Chateau de Brindos in Biarritz and in the 4* Killarney Plaza Hotel. Tadhg is a first cousin of proprietor and owner of Ballygarry House Hotel, Padraig McGillicuddy who is pleased to be adding another family member to the senior management at the hotel.
Elaine Courtney, the new Sales and Marketing Manager at Ballygarry, is a Business in Tourism graduate with qualifications in Event Management and holds a Diploma in Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations. Prior to joining Ballygarry Elaine worked in Sales and Marketing positions in the 4* Great Southern Hotel, Killarney, The Clayton and Glenlo Abbey Hotel, Galway, and the University of Limerick Conference and Sports Campus as Business Development Manager . As Ballygarry House Hotel celebrates 60 years of continuous McGillicuddy hospitality later this year, Elaine’s immediate focus will be to celebrate this milestone while growing the hotel’s business with existing customers while attracting new clients in the leisure, corporate and wedding sectors.
